Accreditation
as a Testing Laboratory for Sports Surfaces acc. ISO 17025
We
proudly announce the official recognition of the IST as a testlab
for sports surfaces (type B) according ISO 17025 "General
Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories"
(see attached Accreditation Certificate issued by the Swiss Accreditation Service within the Swiss Secretariat of Economy SECO of the Swiss Federal Ministry of Economy EVD).
Our Accreditation Number is STS 411. This accreditation is valid
internationally according to international treaties (EA, IAF,
ILAC).
The Accreditation Type B entitles IST to optimize specified
test procedures under defined conditions. We see this as a mark
of distinction and recognition for decades of successfull efforts
to develop and improve test procedures

be seen from the attached document (range of accreditation). The
actual situation of our accreditation can be traced at www.sas.ch.
The now awarded Accreditation is a challenge to improve our work
even more.
